Amazon has been an obsession of ours for a while now, especially the super quick Prime shipping. Getting things delivered straight to your door in just a few days is completely life-changing! I love it.

For the last year, I have switched over to doing all my grocery and household good shopping just once a month. I used to go once a week. My entire Monday was always eaten up by running to a bunch of stores and sitting in traffic. I hated it!

Updated Pantry Organization Tour Video!

Hi guys! Today I posted a fun video over on YouTube, my pretty and organized pantry tour! I organized the pantry just about a year ago, and blogged all about it here back then!

But then I started Costco & bulk once a month shopping, so I did a bit of a refresh this year to handle being able to have way more food on hand at once! I hope you find some pretty and fun organization ideas, come on over and tell me what you think! ????

My Organized Pantry Reveal!

Oh glorious day, a beautiful day for an organized pantry reveal! If you have been following me on my Instagram, and watching my stories at all you will know that I started tackling my pantry which was quite the disaster back in March. It was actually even worse than the before picture but I had already gotten rid of a few things which were driving me crazy since it was a mess and I couldn’t find anything! I have been chomping at the bit to finally take the time to create a little haven in here, where it looks pretty and I can actually find what I need to cook with!

Goals for 2018

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want to focus on this year. Putting my goals into writing these past couple years has actually been really effective for me. It’s such a good way to get them out of my head, onto paper and keep going back and checking in with them and seeing how my progress is going. It seems odd until you do it, but the process of actually saying things out loud or writing them down is just more powerful than thinking them.

I think its partly because until you really decide to do something, you don’t really hold yourself to it, it’s more of just an idea swirling around your head that you are thinking about but not deciding to do. At least that has been the case for me! I’ve really enjoyed getting to go back and see what my goals were for the past 2 years, which of them I’ve accomplished, didn’t so much or even changed direction or priorities on. Reflecting back on 2017

Before I post my new goals and dreams for 2018, I thought I would take a little bit and reflect back on my list of goals for 2017. I’ve done this the past couple years and it has been so cool to go back and see which things I accomplished and how I have grown in the span of a year. Btw, isn’t it simply shocking how fast time seems to go by as an adult?? Sometimes I can barely believe it, especially since when I was a teenager it seemed like timed just moved.so.slow and I was in such a hurry to grow up and live my own life!

What’s in my bag

Last Christmas my sweet hubs got me the Tory Burch Robinson Zip Tote* (the smaller size) that I had been eyeing for a while. I love it so much, it is SO gorgeous!!! I have never received so many compliments on a handbag before, although the last Tory Burch bag (the York tote) I had got quite a few as well. It was in this light blush color as well, can you tell it’s my fave color and I’m a tad bit obsessed?! Once I got it, I went to work making it super organized and functional. I’ve learned that one of the biggest things that keep my daily stress level down is not having to rummage through my bag for 5 minutes before I can find anything! It truly makes a big difference, especially when you are in a rush! And the key to keeping it organized is having separate and specific areas for different things so nothing is just floating around randomly.

I usually love very big bags, since I like to keep a sort of “mom” purse where I am prepared with anything I (or anyone with me) could possibly need in any situation. In fact, my old college friends and roommates nicknamed me “Mom” because I am like that! Haha. I just like to be prepared! Need a tissue? Got one right here! Could have something to do with the fact that I am the oldest of 9 kids maybe… Continue reading “What’s in my bag”

Project Organization: Bathroom Drawers

Project Organization: Bathroom Drawers

Hey guys! Hope you are having a lovely week! I’m trucking right along here with my whole house organization project and getting things done slowly by slowly. Since they are happening more sporadically these days, I’m just going to label each one with the area I organized, instead of the week since it might not be every week!

I finally got my bathroom drawers done, and that has made a nice impact on my daily routine being less cluttered and chaotic! I also remembered to take some before shots, hooray! Even though they were kind of quick and didn’t turn out as clear as I would like, oh well.

I usually tackle these things spontaneously when I get frustrated or motivated enough to just get them done quick! I apologize for the gross hair on all my brushes in advance, but real life right?? Continue reading “Project Organization: Bathroom Drawers”

Project Organization Week 3: Under the Bathroom Sink

Hey guys! Thanks for joining me again during Project Organization, where I continue to try and organize all the little areas of our home that are a little out of control.

This week is all about how I tackled the area under our bathroom sink! Things were a bit crazy, as you can see, and I needed to find a way to make it very functional for every day. I’ve found that if you can organize and really optimize the spaces that you need to use for your every day routines, you honestly lessen your daily stress level a lot! I knew that I wanted to keep all my bathroom cleaning supplies in here, as well as a really functional place for the hubs to keep all his personal items he uses on a daily basis. He also has a drawer as well.

Check out the before: Continue reading “Project Organization: Week 3”

Project Organization Week 2: Junk Drawer

Hi there! Thanks for joining me on my journey to pretty much organize my whole life! Up this week, my Kitchen Junk Drawer. Aren’t junk drawers a funny thing? Pretty much everyone has one, a place where all the various odds and ends you seem to need in life, end up. I will admit, the concept of junk drawers bother me a little bit, because I am one of those people who feels slightly stressed that anywhere is disorganized, even behind a closed door or drawer.

I’ve realized I kind of need to get over that though, as things just seem to accumulate too fast to have every single area perfect at all times! So, I knew the main key for taming this drawer was mainly just to have a spot for everything as much as possible, so it will be somewhat “contained clutter”.
